Jungle
Elise’s clean games come from finding the lane that can crash, dive, and be revisited—one bad wave becomes a repeat visit, and the recent window backs that up by showing her early leads are strongest when they stay short and keep getting spent instead of flattening out
Play her ganks by the human starts, spider cashes rule: walk first, let red buff or allied CC narrow the target’s route, land Cocoon after they choose a line, then swap and finish with spider Q/autos instead of opening every play with max-range stun or blind spider form
Rappel is the trick, not just the jump: dive first and use it to drop tower aggro or hang in the air long enough to waste the enemy’s answer, and remember self-cast keeps you up while your descent target decides where the play actually ends
If the first few minutes go badly, stop trying to recreate the version of Elise that was supposed to dive first and snowball. Clear what is still efficient, reset your tempo, and shift into human-form catch play. That means hovering the lane most likely to get engaged on, fishing Cocoon from fog or after an ally starts contact, and only swapping into spider once the target has already committed to a line. Your goal is to punish over-entry, not to force a low-percentage opener. Behind Elise still contributes when she makes one enemy step too far and uses Rappel to survive the answer instead of spending it just to arrive.
