How to play Soraka

Treat lane like a health ledger: land Q before W whenever the fight allows it, because Soraka is strongest when she is healing teammates with rejuvenation she earned instead of draining herself through them
Cast E on the square where the enemy kill has to finish—the diver’s landing spot, channel, or follow-up step—since Soraka wins more by breaking the commit than by fishing for extra roots, and her save-heavy games outperform her high-immobilization ones
In teamfights, keep the Q thread alive: hover where you can tag the nearest safe body for rejuvenation and fund the next W, because Soraka separates more by surviving for one more spell cycle than by posting a huge heal number after she dies
When the fight gets messy, heal the teammate who still changes the next three seconds, not just the one with the lowest bar. If your frontliner can keep the enemy in place, keep them alive long enough to buy that time. If your carry is untouched and still dealing damage, save the heal for the moment the dive actually reaches them. If someone is already dead unless you walk into the same danger, let them go and keep your own spell cycle intact. A good Soraka W is usually the heal that preserves the fight shape, not the one that looks most generous in the moment.
Soraka runs faster towards nearby low health allies.
A star falls from the sky at the target location dealing magic damage and slowing enemies. If an enemy champion is hit by Starcall, Soraka recovers Health.
Soraka sacrifices a portion of her own health to heal another friendly champion.
Creates a zone at a location that silences all enemies inside. When the zone expires, all enemies still inside are rooted.
Soraka fills her allies with hope, instantly restoring health to herself and all allied champions.
